Partnering in Mission

In the spring of 2016, our home church, Crosswinds Wesleyan Church in Canandaigua, NY, asked us to create a video of some of our financial partners talking about why they were investing in our work.

“Becoming world Christians”

Browncroft Community Church is one of our partners and created this video in 2015.

They wrote, “We just wrapped up Missions Celebration Week where we heard from many of our missionaries making a difference all around the world! Tracy and Brian Heffron are a local family who shared their story with us about heading into full-time missions in 2016. Listen as they share their journey.”

“You can impress from afar, but you can only impact up close”

In early 2015, SIM leaders explained how they believed sharing stories of God’s work would further His kingdom.

Celebrate Recovery member testimony

Dale, a grateful believer in Jesus Christ, tells of how the Holy Spirit used a physical illness and the programs and loving people of Alcoholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery and our church to bring him to faith and healing.

Pastor Craig Cooper asked me to prepare this summary of our church’s ministries for the worship services leading into our annual meeting.  It features reports by leaders about ministries as photographs and videos play.  Please note that all people filmed in the Celebrate Recovery meeting and the food pantry gave permission to be included in this video.

What God is doing at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church (short version)

Some of the reports given by ministry leaders in the full video were given live during the service, so this shorter version was used instead.  That decision also left room during the service for the Celebrate Recovery testimony video to be shown to the whole congregation.

SIM International Director Dr. Joshua Bogunjoko explains why SIM exists.
