A few months ago, a good friend asked me how things were going on a day that was particularly difficult to answer. Yes, we’re all fine, and our colleagues reassure us that our adjustment hiccups are normal.

The Unpleasant Responsibility of Praying for Our Enemies
I keep avoiding writing this. It’s been sitting on my computer screen for days, fittingly unwelcome but reminding me of its unpleasant existence.
I have to pray for Boko Haram.
