The first sin committed was putting selfish ambition before loving God. The second was putting selfish anger before loving another human being. They have plagued us ever since.
I have always enjoyed food—the joy of exploring different tastes and textures, the excitement of experimenting and creating something new, the delight of sharing discoveries and successes with others, the pleasure of fellowship around the table, and the comfort of familiar favorites.
I have plane tickets for a news-gathering trip!

I try to grow in my faith and understanding, to follow Jesus ever more closely, and to speak only things that uplift, inspire, inform, or amuse.
Like most people I know, though, I am human, and I sometimes say the wrong thing clearly or the right thing imperfectly.
